What this directory is

Pickleball Court Guide lists 120 pickleball court businesses across the Klang Valley, built for players who want to compare courts before they book a session or ask about coaching, memberships, or court hire. It’s meant for anyone deciding where to play: casual groups looking for open-play slots, competitive players hunting for well-maintained surfaces, or beginners trying to find a coach near home or the office.

We’re an independent directory and comparison resource. We also generate enquiries for local providers: when you ask to be matched, we pass your enquiry to a provider relevant to your request and may receive a referral fee for that introduction. Referral arrangements never affect scores or earned rankings. That disclosure is repeated on the quote page itself, so it’s clear at the point you actually ask to be connected with someone.

Where the listing data comes from

Each entry starts from public business information (location, hours, contact details, facility type) that we pull and check against what the business itself publishes. On top of that, we synthesise patterns from recent Google reviews to understand things like consistency of court conditions, booking experience, and coaching quality. We don’t republish review text. Instead, we link out to the business’s Google listing so you can read reviews in full and in context.

How rankings are earned

Every ranking comes from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, nothing else. The method is laid out in full on our methodology page, so you can see exactly what’s weighted and why. Rankings are not for sale, and nobody can pay to move up the list.

A business can contact us to correct factual details, a wrong phone number, an outdated address, incorrect court count, and we’ll fix that. What a business cannot do is edit its own score, its sentiment analysis, or its position in the ranking. That separation is deliberate: facts are correctable, scores are earned.

Sponsorship, when it appears

Some pages may carry a sponsored placement. It’s always labelled “Sponsored,” shown in its own section separate from the earned ranking, and it never changes where a business sits in that ranking. If you see a sponsored listing and a ranked listing on the same page, they’re answering different questions: one is paid placement, the other is the rubric’s output.

Who publishes this and who’s behind it

This site is published by Waypoint Local Guides, an outfit building independent city directories for everyday services across Malaysia, starting with pickleball courts here in the Klang Valley. Sarah, our editor, holds editorial oversight of the rankings, and no payment reaches her desk to change a score. Listings are refreshed monthly, and each one carries a “last verified” stamp so you can see when it was last checked rather than take it on faith.
